The Indian smartphone market is flooded with Chinese manufacturers and they all use their own user interface for some reason. They could have used the standard user interface like Motorola and Nokia, but they didn't. Now all other manufacturers use their own layered theme on Android. 
We really have no problem using its own user interface, except for one, the ads. Most of them have advertisements in their user interface that not only consume data, but can also violate privacy. So here we have a little guide on how you can disable them depending on your smartphone manufacturer.

Xiaomi Smartphones: MIUI

Disable System ads in MIUI

  1. Connect your phone to the internet, it won’t consume much data.
  2. Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Authorization and revocation then toggle the msa to off.
  3. A popup will appear confirming the revoke, wait for 10 seconds and tap Revoke.
  4. You might see some error message, try for a few more time and you might succeed.
  5. Once you turn the msa toggle to off, go to Settings > Additional Settings > Privacy > Ad services Personalized ad recommendations and turn it off.

Disable ads in Mi Video app

  1. Open the Mi Video app.
  2. Go to Accounts > Settings > disable Online recommendations.
  3. Also, disable the Push notification toggle to stop receiving notifications.
You can disable ads in other apps by following the same steps mentioned above. You may see the switch with different names like Receive recommendations or recommendations for you in other applications. 

To disable annoying notifications from apps that you can't use and can't uninstall, just disable them. You can also disable those apps from sending notifications from Settings> Notifications> App notifications and disable the desired apps.

Oppo smartphones: ColorOS 
All Oppo smartphones that run on ColorOS come with a setting called recommendations. You can turn it off to get all those annoying ads and notifications that you don't need.

  1. Go to Settings > Additional Settings.
  2. Look for Get Recommendations setting and toggle it off.
  3. Once you turn that setting off, you won’t see the ads anywhere on your Oppo smartphone.
Realme Smartphones: Realme UI
  1. Open the Settings app and tap on 'Additional Settings'
  2. Find the 'Get Recommendations' option, which is placed just above 'Backup & Reset'
  3. Simply tap on the toggle button to turn off the recommendations/ ads
